Gerda Pearce

Gerda Pearce was born in Mthatha, South Africa, in 1965. Not wishing to live under apartheid, she moved to London, UK, in 1989. She is studying for a masters degree in creative writing, while working on her second novel, a love story exploring themes of inheritance and loss. Gerda's first novel, Long Lies the Shadow, was published in 2011 by Maia / Arcadia. Gerda is currently writing her second novel.
